Temperament: An athlete, easy to deal with, a real "people" horse that just loves to work, a very quick learner who wants to give his best every single time. He is the epitome of today's modern sport horse.

Progeny: Ulando's babies are still young but are winning on the line with good comments from well-renowned judges.

Achievements: VDL Ulando H represents the very best of Holstein and Dutch Warmblood breeding, with no less than 8 International Grand Prix jumpers in the first 3 generations of his pedigree. Ulando was the 2004 Ontario Stallion Licensing Champion and Vice-Champion of the Stallion Performance Test, achieving the highest jumping index and 2nd highest dressage index. He placed 3rd at the prestigious Lt. Governor’s Cup at the 2004 RAWF, and was Grand Champion of the Hanoverian Free Jumping Competition and Champion of the Riding Horse Test in 2004. In ‘05 and ‘06, he was campaigned in the Jumper Development Series and HITS circuit by Olympian Beth Underhill. In 2008, Ulando started his eventing career with Ruth Armstrong, and he loves it; they already have several successes at the novice level both in Ontario and Florida. He was the reserve champion for the National Open Young Event Horse. Feedback has said Ulando has exactly what it takes to be the epitome of today’s modern warmblood and event horse: scope to burn, gaits to die for, and a fast light gallop. Ulando foals are proving exceptional, with movement, athleticism, and correctness of gaits; they are very personable. He is a good cross with both Warmbloods and Thoroughbreds.

Corland has achieved Keur status with the KWPN, a title bestowed on only the best of Holland's stallions. Ulando's dam, the Keur Preferent Dutch warmblood mare Fanieta, is sired by the KWPN preferent stallion Olympic Ahorn, whose international success in the grand prix ring qualified him for the Barcelona Olympics.
