Ilian de Taute himself is the only breeding son of the legendary Narcos II standing in North America. Narcos II has on several occasions been awarded the prestigious title “Worlds No.1 Performance Producing Stallion”. “Wenella” the dam of “P.S. I Love You” is herself a high scoring approved Hanoverian mare. Her sire is the well-known imported FEI Hanoverian dressage stallion “Wendland”. “P.S. I Love You” won the Ontario licensing & is also the overall Canadian National Licensing Champion with a fabulous score of 8.44 and a rarely awarded stallion “premium”. Earning five 9’s for his scope, technique, conformation & sex type and an additional four 9’s in his conformation breakdown scores. “P.S. I Love You” has scope to burn and movement & suspension that is breathtaking. Additionally he has the stallion “presence” so needed in a quality breeding stallion. Born in France, P.S. I Love You’s sire, Ilian De Taute, was one of the top 4 year old stallions in 2000. He placed 16th out of the 616 stallions presented, earning himself "Elite" status at the show jumping finals in Fontainebleue. In 2000, Ilian had 13 out of 14 double clear rounds. Ilian has a Blup of +20 and an ISO of 129, which was exceptional as a 4-year-old. Ilian's "Elite" premium, performance testing & pedigree, as well as his superior conformation, earned him full approved Selle Francais breeding status at an early age. Ilian was one of only 8 stallions that were awarded "elite" status out of the 616 stallions presented. Ilian De Taute would have been going to the Belgian National Stud to improve their breeding program for 2001 if he had not come to Canada. Ilian's sire, Narcos II, is one of the most famous French horses ever. He was 2nd in the world sire rankings for show jumpers in 1999, behind Ramiro Z, but ahead of Voltair. Narcos II has sired 36 approved stallions and 351 big money winners; many have been international & Olympic horses such as Viking Du Tillard, Valiska For Ever and Twist Du Vallon (AGA horse of the year). Narcos II himself has been a top competitive stallion since the age of 4 and later became a member of the French Olympic team. The Narcos II family tree is just as incredible and heavily populated with international athletes.
Equally as important is the dam line. P.S. I Love You's dam, Wenella, is by the international Grand Prix Dressage Stallion Wendland, a prolific producer from the world famous “W” Hanovarian lines. P.S. I Love You's sire’s dam, Ondine Du Mesnil, herself a GP jumper, has produced 5 top class money winners and her dam, Guetna Du Mesnil, produced 13 top money winners, two of which are the approved international stallions Glory Du Banco and Nelfo Du Mesnil. The 3rd dam, Tenenbrausse D, produced 14 competitive and international winners, and two international approved stallions, Opaline Du Mesnil and Eurostar. Ilian's dam's sire, Le Pontet, and grand dam sire, Night & Day, have sired over 70 international horses in all 3 disciplines between them, many of which are also approved stallions.
